Cordwainer Productions is an emerging production company focused on developing talented, locally sourced artists in communities where there is little to no opportunity for professional artistic production on a large scale. Cordwainer productions seeks to be a venue for the development and experimentation of emerging and young professional artists specifically.
Cordwainer Productions seeks to perform non-traditional pieces of art that challenge audiences with themes that resonate with them, transcending the moment of beginning and end. The material required to do this is often challenging for the artists involved as well, and the journey from the inception of the project until the completion of the project is, in turn, one that serves to inspire growth and development of the creators as well as the audiences.
Cordwainer Productions seeks to be as open, collaborative and inclusive as possible to all interested emerging and established artists with special consideration given to younger artists looking for opportunity and experience.
